Adjustable Ear Cuff

A Sterling silver ear cuff made so that the motifs can be replaced and worn based on the preferences of the user. Crafted for versatility, this set is designed to offer multiple looks, to minimize the need for additional jewelry pieces while still maintaining a diverse range of styles.

Key Skills

Ideation (Motifs)

Experimenting with negative space and how these silhouettes could potentially overlap and interplay was integral to find the right balance.

Prototyping

I prototyped different ways for the cuff to curve so that it would hold on the ear and follow the shape of the ear. Furthermore, I experimented with the size and placement of the motif in comparasion to the ear. This was done in metal, clay and beads.

Metalworking

I used sterling silver to make these. I then sawed, hammered and soldered the silver together.
